AIN Article on OSHA HazCom and NATA Safety 1st

In today’s edition of AIN Online, Curt Epstein previews the 2012 changes to the OSHA Hazard Communication (HazCom) standard and the impact they will have on aviation businesses. Under the OSHA HazCom standard, all employers must train any employee that handles, or that may be exposed to, a hazardous substance at work by December 1, 2013.

As noted in the article, NATA Safety 1st has developed a simple online training module that can be used to satisfy the December 2013 training requirement. More information on this training can be found at www.nata.aero/hazcom.
